Barton of Alpharetta, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude Barton and Lola Barton; his daughter Terry; and his siblings, Claude Jr., Annette Fisher and Jack.

He is survived by : his wife Jane Mays Barton; his daughter Tracey; his son-in-law Jack Barton; his grandsons, Jason Connell and Justin (Alyssa Connell); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Nathan.
