James Patrick Murphy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Patrick Murphy of Alpharetta, Georgia, born in Yonkers, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 20, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philomena Murphy (Grippo) and James J. Murphy; and his sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Murphy, Helen Defeo (Murphy), Maryanne "Duffy" Cummings (Murphy) and Susan Race (Murphy).
He is survived by: his wife Rosalind M. MacLeod; and his children, Jane Walker (Alan) of Alpharetta, GA, James Murphy (Darla) of Greenville, DE, Brian Murphy of Alpharetta, GA, Gregory Murphy (Michele) of Selbyville, DE and Christa Murphy of Minneapolis, MN.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
