She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Smitherman and Jessie Smitherman (Langston); her significant other Phillip James Sullivan; her daughter Cynthia Sullivan Kaldor (Bruce); and her brothers, Col. Julian Edward Smitherman, Erskine Ramsey Smitherman (Buck) and Clifford Milton Smitherman.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Phillip Sullivan (Cindy) and Ramsay Paul Sullivan; her grandchildren, Claire Sullivan Villani (Stefan), Emily Marie Sullivan, Amy Elizabeth Sullivan, Amy Kaldor Bremner (Luke) and Bruce Kaldor, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Nancy Sullivan Ahrens (Bill). She is also survived by many extended family members and special friends.
