With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John David Saxon of Alpharetta, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on June 26, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Saxon and Dorothy Saxon (Spisak); his brother Joseph (Kathy); his sister-in-law Jane; and his nephew Nick Wiery.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael J. Saxon (Debbie) of St. Louis, Dale Saxon of Alpharetta, Stephen Saxon (Beth) of Alpharetta, Paul Saxon (Angela) of Wellington, Florida and Karen Saxon of Youngstown, Ohio. He is also survived by seven nephews, four nieces, four great nephews, five great nieces and five great great nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (381 Robbins Ave, Niles, OH 44446).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning Valley.
