She was predeceased by: her significant other Earl D. Williams; her parents, William Young Smith and Mary Irene Taylor Smith; and her siblings, Bernard Smith, Hugh Smith, Billy Smith, Marion Smith, Carl Smith, Hoke Smith, Jessie Roundtree, Mable Spence and Helen Smith.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, William E. Spence (Nita), Carolyn Spence Scott, Ann Hastings (Tom), Betsy Rabun (John), Carl W Smith (Charlotte), Martha Mathis (Wayne), Gail Smith Willem and Jessalyn Smith Stone.
