Peggy Wilson DeVore Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Wilson DeVore of Alpharetta, Georgia, who passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Wilson DeVore to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Wilson and Clara Bell Wilson; her husband James Donald DeVore; her siblings, Benjamin Jr., Harold, James Addison "Red" Wilson, Margaret Wilson England, Clara Mae Wilson Moore and Polly Wilson Taylor; and her pet Phoebe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tara DeVore Berry (Wesley), Tena DeVore Daniel (Jeff) and Tammy DeVore Albright (Alan); her grandchildren, Addison Albright (Courtney), Braden Albright, Madelynn Daniel (Ricky) and Morgan Daniel; her great grandchildren, Asher and Eloise Albright; her brother Steve Wilson (Shirley); and her caregivers, Cindy Sheehan and Maureen Hatcher. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Northside Chapel Funeral Directors & Crematory (12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, GA 30075). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Green Lawn Cemetery (950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Touch of Love Ministry of First Baptist Church of Alpharetta (44 Academy St, Alpharetta, GA 30009), in memory of Peggy DeVore.
