He was predeceased by: his parents, James Doucet and Stella Lee; and his siblings, Kermit Doucet and Patti Leger. He is survived by: his children, David Q. Doucet of Lafayette and Kayla Menard (Chris Menard) of Alpharetta, Georgia.; and his brother Thurman Doucet. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
