He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Shapiro and Jacob Shapiro. He is survived by: his wife Toby Shapiro (Rosen); his children, Nancy Tilson (Todd), Laurie Raab (Emil) and Karen Furst (Warren); and his grandchildren, Carly, Taylor Tilson, Adam, Benjamin Raab, Matthew and Rachel Furst.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the Village Park (12300 Morris Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30005).
In honor of Sam's memory, contributions may be made to Temple Beth Zion in Buffalo, New York, or to the Alzheimer's Association.
