As Bettie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bettie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bettie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ivie and Helen Parker Ivie; her husband Larry Jay Williams, Sr.; and her son Larry Jay Williams, Jr.. She is survived by: her granddaughter Trinity; and her sibling's children, Greg (Kim Morris) of Alto, Richie (Joyce Morris) of Baldwin and Gail Williams Welborn of Baldwin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel (1370 Industrial Blvd, Baldwin, GA 30511). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
