She is survived by: her parents, Billy Joe Whitfield and Brenda England Green; her husband Tony Wesley Simmons; her daughter Heather Sheridan; her stepson Howard Simmons; her grandchildren, Walker Bennett (Ashlyn) and Chloe Bennett (Garrett Oliver); her great grandchildren, Wrenly Bennett and Greyson Oliver; her siblings, David Green (Deborah), Matt Whitfield, Heath Green (Jennifer) and Tiffany Green (Mike Pugh); her sister-in-law Jerelynn Whitfield; and her in-laws, Bonnie Faulkner, Heather Simmons and Brandee Russo. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
