He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Moody and Alda Williams Moody; his son Josh Moody; and his sisters, Cora Lee Ansley, Inis Crumley and Evelyn Crocker.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wanda (Clifford Dills), Diane (Ron Heimberger) and Larry; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Moody of Alto. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
