Richard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Richard will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. and Lucille Saville White; and his brother Dr. S. Kent White. He is survived by: his sister Donna White Kearney (R. Kevin Kearney); his sister-in-law Selena White; his nephew Jarred James White; and his cousin Gail Childers.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A burial was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Level Grove Cemetery.
