She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mack Myers and Emmer Ethel Wade Myers; and her husband Gaines Lewis "Bud" Waldon. She is survived by: her children, Nick, Carolyn Waldon, Ginger Waldon, Misty and Shane McEntyre; her sister Hazel Turner Howard; her grandchildren, Megan, Bryan Ivie, Kyle, Emilee Waldon, Zach, Ashley Lewis, Liza, Caleb McAllister, Alex McEntyre, Lauren and Austin Naab; and her great grandchildren, Clark, Kara Ivie, Isaiah, Maelee McAllister, Layton, Benjamin Lewis, Gaines and Maggie Waldon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Alto Congregational Holiness Church (801 Holch, Alto St, Alto, GA 30510). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Alto Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery (801 Holch, Alto St, Alto, GA 30510).
