He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Vickers and Julia Paulk Vickers (Durden); his stepfather Ed Durden; and his sister Gloria Durden Davis. He is survived by: his wife Mary Nell Reich Vickers of Ambrose, Georgia; and his sons, Cary Ray Vickers and Roger Keith Vickers.
A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Hope Cemetery (977 New Hope Church Rd, Ambrose, GA 31512).
In keeping with Mr. Vickers wishes, his family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial gifts be made to Douglas Church of Christ 1001 North Gaskin Avenue Douglas, Georgia 31533.
