She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Merritt and Betty Lou Bostic Merritt; and her brothers, Fredrick Merritt, Jimmy Darrell Merritt, Michael Merritt and Anthony Merritt.
She is survived by: her children, Jerred Wampler of Ambrose, Greg Wampler of Ambrose, John Wampler (Vivian) of Dublin and Heather Wampler of Ambrose, Georgia; her grandchildren, Hayden Wampler, Jaylyn Wampler, Owen Wampler, Gregory Wampler, Allison Wampler, Elliot Wampler and Aaliyah Wampler; and her siblings, Joe Merritt (Dedra) of Douglas, Dana Flanagan (Jackie) of Douglas and Cece Brigmond (Kenneth) of Broxton, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel (305 W Ward St, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Elam-Harper Cemetery.
