He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Evadell Brooks and John David "JD" Brooks Sr. of Gurley, AL; his daughter Kimberly DeAnne Brooks; his wife Virginia Loita Walker Brooks; his sons, Michael (Martina) of Brighton, TN. and Kerry (Melisabeth) of Athens, AL.; his grandchildren, Kinsey, Brianna, Natalie, Ashley, Andrew, Jackson and Cora; and his siblings, John David Brooks (Sherry) of Osceola and Lotus Brooks Dixon (Donnie).
