She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Eldon Jackson and Eveanna Madeline Kessel Jackson; and her siblings, Katherine Fordham, Jim Jackson, Bud Jackson and Eddie Jackson.

She is survived by: her husband William Ray Pinkard of Americus; her children, Glinda Sue Roberts of Americus, Cherryl Lynn Teal of Americus, Wesley B. Purvis (Faye) of Leesburg and Walter K. Purvis of Albany; her sisters, Linda K. Parker (Johnny) of New Mexico and Mary Dororthy Young of Tx; and her grandchildren, Jody Williams, Chris Solomon, Michelle English, Brandi Raybon, Lee Purvis, Rena Brown, Kristi Shepard, Michael Shepard, Teal, Corey Purvis, Shane Purvis and Austin Purvis. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

The family has requested memorial contributions be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 1256 Us Hwy 280 East Americus, GA 31709.
