She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Harbuck and Eliza Johnson Harbuck; her husband Bobby Chappell; and her siblings, Ouida Satterfield, Leta Mae Evans, Margaret Ellison, Leona Layfield, John Harbuck, Roy Harbuck, William Louis Harbuck (Bill), Alva Harbuck and Ray Harbuck.
She is survived by: her daughter Gayle Clark (John); her grandchild Ashleigh Jones (Josh); her great grandchildren, Ella and Ada; her grandson Adam Clark; her son Scott Chappell (Mary); and her grandchildren, Kendall and Connor. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hebron Baptist Church (1951 GA-49, Americus, GA 31719). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
