It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Jo Arthur of Americus, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elizabeth English and Olin English; her husband James Danny Arthur; her son Alan Arthur; and her brothers, Curtis Ray English and Floyd Davis English.

She is survived by : her sister-in-law Jackie English; her close friends, Kim and Eddie Dunn; her siblings-in-law, David Arthur, Brenda Arthur and Ronnie Arthur (Becky); and her sitters, Yolanda Carter and Marlene Diem. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, May 12th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (400 Rees St, Americus, GA 31709).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sumter Humane Society, 108 Industrial Blvd., Americus, Georgia 31719.
