He is survived by: his caregiver LaKenya "Kale" Johnson of Americus, Georgia; his daughter DaQuanda Arnett of Tampa, Florida; his siblings, Annie Pearl Johnson of Americus, Veronica Naylor (Walter) of Albany, Georgia, Shannon Johnson of Oberlin, James Herb Johnson of Americus, Georgia, Floyd Johnson of Americus, Georgia, Gerald Johnson (Deborah) of Americus, Georgia, Michael Johnson (Shirlene) of Americus, Georgia and Rodney Johnson (Sharon) of Americus, Georgia; and his aunts, Elnora Girvens of Americus, Georgia and Lillie Mae Cladd of Americus, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
