He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wellons and Eleanor Wellons; and his daughter-in-law Leslie Legg Wellons. He is survived by: his son David Wellons; his granddaughter Caroline Wellons; and his siblings, Billy Wellons (Carol) of Byron, Wesley Wellons (Vanessa) of Americus, Michael Wellons (Rita) of Perry and Loretta Allen Brown of Atlanta.
