She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Thornton and Fannie Mae Meadows Thornton; her former husband J. A. Sensaboy; and her sisters, Evelyn Howell and Estelle Wilson.
She is survived by: her husband Barry D. Usry of Americus; her children, Donnie Cromer of Smithville, TN, Melisa Salter of Warner Robins, GA, Melanie Harris of Jeffersonville, GA and Susie Sensaboy of Kingston, TN; and her sister Mary Register of Pine Mountain, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Hancock Funeral Home (427 S Lee St, Americus, GA 31709).
