We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2025, at the age of 83, Ed Donald Scott (Americus, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mattie Elder, Minnie Scott, Annelle, Bobby Scott and Kenneth Scott.
He is survived by: his siblings, Elizabeth Ivey, Lissy Partin and Roxie Brady; his children, Beverly Long, Sheila Warner and Marlene Chancey; his grandchildren, Michael Long, Brittany Arp (Blake), Rob Anderson (Abby), Gregory Warner, Nathan Anderson, Seth Warner and Madison Chancey; and his great grandchildren, Paisley, Walker, Zara, Baylor and Oliver.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hancock Funeral Home Inc. (427 S Lee St, Americus, GA 31709). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Smithville Methodist Church (167 Church St, Smithville, GA 31787). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Smithville Cemetery.
