She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Pilcher Sr. and Edith Peggy Amerson Pilcher; her daughter Kathleen Frances Thornrose; her siblings, Linda Pilcher Easom, Tommy Pilcher, Robert "Bob" Pilcher and Jimmie Pilcher; and her grandson Christopher Michael Toms.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Walter Thornrose Jr. "Butch"; her daughter Peggy Lynn Thornrose Toms; her son-in-law Christopher Stephen Toms Sr. of Americus; her siblings, Sue Pilcher of Americus, Debbie Pilcher Smith of Americus and Sammy Pilcher; her sister-in-law Marynan of Ellaville; and her grandchildren, Joshua Howard Toms, Chelsea Lynn Toms Guardiola (Christian) and Megan Raybon (Randy). She is also survived by six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (961 Shiloh Rd, Americus, GA 31719). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
