It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Bearden (Americus, Georgia), born in Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lee Winn and Bertha May Campbell Winn; her husband Vester Capers Bearden; and her son William "Bill" Bearden. She is survived by: her children, Winn Bearden (Renee), Judy Elder, Sharon Porter, Rosann Long (Wilson) and Trina Shattles (Ed). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
