He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Eugene Hartsfield Sr. and Mayjorie Payne Hartsfield of Richland, GA.; and his daughter Grace Hartsfield. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Moores Hartsfield; his sons, Jarrett Hartsfield (Leslie) of Americus, Emory Eugene "Trey" Hartsfield, III (Dawn) of Texas, Duane Whittaker (Ruth) of Americus and Danny Whittaker (Kat) of Americus; his sister Mary Pearl Hartsfield Foy (Byron) of Maryland; and his sister-in-law Florence Locke of Canada. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
