She was predeceased by : her parents, Edmund Dillard and Lois Black Dillard. She is survived by : her husband Jack T. Chappell; her son Jay Chappell (Jessica); and her grandchildren, Pierce Chappell and Talley Chappell.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, June 22, between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 S. Lee St.
