It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Rackley Lanier of Americus, Georgia, who passed away on November 23, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Rackley and Lucille Brannen Rackley; her husband Thomas Felton Lanier; her cousin William Bland; her niece Bonnie Lanier Rushing; and also Timothy Bland.
She is survived by: her cousin Reta Bland; her children, William Bland (Helen), Julie Lavender (David) and Lee-Ann Calahan; her niece Pat Lanier Jones (Larry); her caregiver Doreen Ross; and her close friends, Karen McCoy and Bill Williams. She is also survived by Several cousins, great nephews and extended family.
