He is survived by: his wife Lisa Luke Turpin of Albany; his children, Frank "Beau" Henderson Turpin IV (Carrie) of Atlanta and Alexa Turpin Fowler (Dustin) of Watkinsville, GA.; his siblings, Jean Turpin Thurston (Eugene) and Fred Singer Turpin (Linda) of Albany, GA; his brother-in-law Fielding Walker; and his grandchildren, Sarah Banks Fowler, Adley Allen Fowler, Emily Turpin and Daniel Turpin.
