With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude H Strickland of Americus, Georgia, who passed away on February 4, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Arthur Hamlin and Maggie Massey Hamlin; her husband Reuben Calvin Strickland; her children, Leon A. Strickland (Diane) of Macon and Kay Strickland Heath (John) of Americus; and her grandchildren, Andrea Strickland Bourne (Steve) of Rome, Leann Heath Miller (Matt) of Americus and Jeff Strickland of Warner Robins, Georgia.. She was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.
