He is survived by: his daughter Felicia Dowdell of McDonough, GA; his siblings, Jacquelyn Dowdell-Coleman of White Plains, NY, Wanda Faye Biggins (James) of Americus, GA and Reginald Dowdell (Barbara) of Americus, GA; his nephews, Dr. Markel Mitchell (Lateasha) of McDonough, GA, Kendrick of Americus, GA, Terrance of Americus, GA and D'Vonte Biggins of Americus, GA; his sister-in-law Pamela Biggins of Americus, GA.; his stepdaughters, Dorothy Mackey of Americus, GA, Christina White (Jimmy) of Andersonville, GA, Geneva White Waters of Americus, GA, Laura White of Americus, GA, Cassandra Monts (Eric) of Americus, GA and Cathy White Brown (Morris) of Macon, GA; his friend Leanna White; his nephew Cornelius Morgan of Americus, GA; and his friend John Hayes (Audrey). He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
