He was predeceased by: his parents, Parks Hollis Clayton and Louis Ruth Timmons Clayton; and his wife Peggy Ann Cromer Clayton. He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberleigh Harrison of Illinois and Wendy Clayton of Americus; his stepsons, Mark Robinson of Americus and William Warren of North Carolina; his sister Janice Clayton Warren of Waycross, GA.; and his grandchildren, Dillion Debose, Brooke Grosmick and Christopher Flick, Jr..
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (309 Rees St, Americus, GA 31709-3754).
