He was predeceased by : his mother Dorothy Stephens; and his children, Keith Daniels and Chandra Amy Daniels. He is survived by : his stepmother Bernice Smothers; his sons, Jason Daniels of Americus and Timothy Lawson of Land; his granddaughters, Essence Durham, Kimberly Lawson, Jakayla Lawson and Ja'Lia Daniels; his great grandchildren, Kendall Davis, Kendric Davis and Joslyn Durham; his siblings, Ray Stephens of Americus, Herman Stephens of Americus, Bernard Daniels of Americus, Lawanda Nelson of Americus, Erica Stephens of Americus and Barbara Daniels of Americus; his former life partner Ethel Longstreet Daniels; his stepsister Lovie Williams; and his niece Teresa Fuller (Bernard). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
