She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert Wilson Moores and Caroline Moores; her husband Emory Eugene Hartsfield Jr.; and her daughter Grace Hartsfield. She is survived by : her sons, Jarrett Hartsfield (Leslie), Duane Whittaker (Ruth), Danny Whittaker (Kat) and Emory Eugene "Trey" Hartsfield III (Dawn); and her sister Florence Locke of Canada.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1256 US Highway 280 East, Americus, GA 31709.
