She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Raymond Holt Sr. and Virginia Jones Holt; her husband Shepard Hugh Gibson; her son Robert Franklin Gibson, III; and her sister Dr. Raye Holt.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Hull (Troy) of St. Simons, Island, Payton Lee Gibson (Debra) of Plains and Shepard Gibson, II (Jennifer); and her brother Raymond Holt, Jr. (Carey) of North Carolina. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
