She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Vestelle and Oleta Mae Ramzy Sartain; her husband Jake Cartwright; and her brother Robert Lewis Sartain. She is survived by: her daughter Colette; her son-in-law Greg Long of Americus; her grandchildren, Jessica Byrd (Jay) of Americus, Nate Long (Gabby) of Tempe, AZ, Samantha Long and Wes Gibbs of Americus; and her sisters, Lois Marie Sartain Rensink of Graham, TX and Letta Nell Sartain Biebighauser of Graham, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Plains Baptist Church (301 N Bond St, Plains, GA 31780).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Plains Baptist Church, Vacation Bible School fund, PO Box 189, Plains, GA 31780.
