She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Lovette and Wilma Rene Lovette; her husband Henry Earl Nowell; her daughter Karen Nowell Brown; and her brother William Larkin Lovette.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Hale (John) and William Chester "Chet" Nowell (Morgan); her son-in-law Luke Brown; and her grandchildren, William T. Jack Brown, Anna Rene Brown and Truett Andrew Hale.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services (612 Reese Park, Americus, GA 31709). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 at the Poplar Springs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to Bethel Baptist Children's or Youth Ministry.
