She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Welch and Florine Wilson Welch; her former husband Tump Purvis; her son-in-law Tuck Rush, III; and her siblings, Juanita Snider, Betty Sollers, Billy, Larry and Ronnie Welch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Teasley (Keith) of Americus and Sheryl Rush of Americus; and her grandchildren, Hope Bateman (Nathan) of Americus, Rob Rush (Sarah) of Gainsville, Hannah Ledger (Matthew) of San Diego and Mary Nell Rush of Americus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests donations may be made to the Sumter Humane Society 108 Industrial Blvd Americus, Ga. 31709.
