He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ernest Preskitt and Cora Ward Law; his daughter Victoria Rose Preskitt Welch; his grandson Thomas Matthew Castleberry (Farrah Johnson Castleberry); and his stepbrother Buddy Law.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Cox Preskitt; his children, Stephen Preskitt (Cindy), Paula Preskitt Hanks (Charles) and Jan Preskitt Parker (Gary); his grandchildren, Mandi Castleberry Bass (Robert Graham), Stephanie Preskitt Grimes (Shaun), Laura Leigh Bell (Cecil) and Bryan Parker (Jaime); his great grandchildren, London Bass (Skyla), Ashlyn Bass and Preskitt Castleberry; his adoptive parents, Rhydon, Amy Mays, Bella Parker, Zoe Bell and Cole Bell; his great-great-grandparent Kolton Preskitt Bass; his sister Martha Spence; his stepsister Cheryl Smith (Gerald); and his caregiver Marsha Robinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
