He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cavender and Ruby Cavender; his wife Jeanette McDonald Cavender; and his daughter Kimberly Lynn Cavender. He is survived by: his son Chadwick Lee Cavender; his siblings, Faith Houston (Gary), Bea Lawing and Chris Cavender (Anna); and his grandsons, Dustin Cavender and Andrew Lee Cavender. He is also survived by one great-grandchild; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hancock Funeral Home, Inc. (427 S Lee St, Americus, GA 31709). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (400 Rees St, Americus, GA 31709).
