She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Matthew Cox and Laura Emma Fullbright Cox; her husband Paul Preskitt; her daughter Victoria Rose Preskitt Welch; her grandson Thomas Matthew Castleberry (Farrah Johnson Castleberry); and her siblings, Sally Burroughs, Martha Garrett, Gus Cox and Rena Deriso.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Preskitt (Cindy), Paula Preskitt Hanks (Charles) and Jan Preskitt Parker (Gary); her grandchildren, Mandi Castleberry Bass (Robert Graham), Stephanie Preskitt Grimes (Shaun), Laura Leigh Bell (Cecil) and Bryan Parker (Jaime); her great grandchildren, London Bass (Skyla), Ashlyn Bass, Preskitt Castleberry, Bella Parker, Zoe Bell and Cole Bell; her great great grandchild Kolton Preskitt Bass; and her siblings, Dorothy Barnette and Jack Cox. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
