She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Bowen; and her brother Gene Youngblood. She is survived by: her children, Monica Rene Andrews (JR) and Jimmy Thomas Underwood Jr. (Robin Morris); her sister Brenda Underwood (Bobby); her grandsons, Christopher Underwood (Paige) and Tyler Barfield; and her great grandchild Alyssa Underwood.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services (612 Reese Park, Americus, GA 31709). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery (422 GA-49, Americus, GA 31719).
