We are sad to announce that, on July 31, 2021, at the age of 99, Sarah Pitts Bowles of Americus, Georgia, born in Orchard Hill, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Pitts and Carolyn Pitts; and her husband Col. Alvin Hoyt Bowles. She is survived by: her daughters, Sue (Bob Graber) and Judy (Bob Stinchcum); and her sister Elizabeth Pitts Harper. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
