She was predeceased by: her father Earl Griger; her daughter Amie Marie Carter; her siblings, Cecil Griger and Dorothy Cribb; and her brother-in-law James Clark.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Carter; her children, Chris Carter (Abby) of Loganville, GA and Therese Carter of Pensacola, FL; her siblings, Roy Griger (Barbara) of Warner Robins, GA and Ethel Clark; her siblings-in-law, Bobbie Griger of Warner Robins and Edwin Cribb; her grandchildren, Brandon Carter (Madeline) of Americus, GA, Jordan Mizell (Clay) of Leslie, GA and Madison Carter of Loganville; and her great grandchildren, Rosalie Carter, Emersyn Mizell and Izabella Carter.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
