He is survived by: his wife Anne Wyly Gilfoil; his daughters, Emmilyn Stapleton Boykin (Sam) and Claire Stapleton Batson (Court); his grandchildren, Walter Davenport Stapleton Boykin, Samuel Marks Boykin, IV and Emmilyn Elesabeth Claire Boykin; and his children, Rocky Point and Tampa.
