He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Thomas Poupard and Carrie Mae Martin; his wife Sara Zaida Ivey Poupard; his daughter Toni Deriso; his son-in-law Billy Deriso; and his grandson Lee Poupard.
He is survived by: his son George Thomas Poupard (Louann); his grandchildren, Tony Poupard, Michael Poupard (Shelby), Lindsay King (Steve) and Elizabeth Ekkel; and his brother Bobby Poupard. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and twelve nieces and nephews along with other extended family.
