She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Surrency; and her parents, DJ Thornton and Betty Jean Thornton. She is survived by: her brother Eston (Susan Thornton); her niece Shonda (Byron Carter); and her nephews, Shane (Angie Thornton) and Spanky (Megan Thornton). She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews, along with other family members.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nobles Funeral Home & Crematory (85 Anthony St, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
