With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John M. Cook Jr. of Appling, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He is survived by: his parents, Ruth Bell (Charlie) and John M. Cook, Sr.; and his siblings, Amanda Eidson of North Augusta, S. C., Maury Howell of Powder Springs, Dawn Chastain of Powder Springs and Joe David Bell. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
