He is survived by: his mother Lisa Ridgeway Dowdy; his children, Benjamine Robert Dowdy and Phoebe Faye Dowdy; his brother Joshua Dowdy; and his grandfather Daniel Ridgeway. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
