She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Gentry and Isabelle Gentry; the father of her children Earnie Forsyth; her husband Marvin Ballance; her granddaughter Vickie Diane Forsyth; and her siblings, Christen Maxwell, Lucile Cole, Margie Pickle, Lula Bell Moore, Daniel Gentry, Felton Gentry, Richard Gentry, Clyde Gentry and Dillard Gentry.
She is survived by: her children, Lamar Forsyth (Debbie), Leroy Forsyth (Pam), Eddie Forsyth, Franklin Forsyth, Diane Cox (Billy), Gail Dobbs (Dean) and Sherrie Miller; her siblings, Harold Gentry, Ellen Bennett and Myrtle Cantrell; and her pet Pretzel. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery (3071 Old Alabama Rd, Aragon, GA 30104).
